Concealed Carrier Wounded In Shootout With Suspected Car Thief

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — A concealed carry license holder in Chicago exchanged gunfire with a suspected car thief on Saturday, according to reports.

The license holder saw the thief attempting to break into his car and pulled out his gun, leading to a shootout, according to WFLD.

The suspect fled in another vehicle but was later involved in a car crash and taken into custody along with two other individuals.

The suspect suffered a graze wound and is hospitalized in good condition. Charges are pending against the individuals involved.
