Florida Jewelry Store Owner Shoots And Kills 2 Of 4 Armed Robbery Suspects

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Two robbery suspects are dead after a jewelry store owner defended himself. Four suspects allegedly tried robbing a jewelry booth at the Magic Mall in Orlando when the store owner shot and killed two of them, police said.

The incident occurred on October 14, just before noon. Four suspects entered the Magic Mall in Orlando and attempted to rob a jewelry booth. At least one of the four suspects was armed with a handgun.

The store owner pulled out his own firearm and shot at the suspects, hitting two of them. One of the suspects died at the scene. The other three fled to a car and drove off. Police later found the vehicle nearby and found one suspects inside with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The names of the men who were killed in the attempted robbery have not been made public. The other two suspects are still at large, however, no physical description was provided.

Other store owners at the Magic Mall told FOX 35’s Connor Hansen this is why many of them are armed.

“There’s a lot of concealed license carriers here. So if you come to the Magic Mall and you want to commit a crime, there’s a really good chance you’re gonna get shot.”
