[WATCH] Would-Be Hotel Robber Routed By Woman Armed At Work

Published

HOUSTON, TEXAS — A man in Houston, Texas, attempted to rob a hotel armed with a rifle, but was forced to retreat when confronted by a hotel clerk who was armed with a handgun.

Joyously, it was caught on tape. Check out the video below:

Does anyone else think that hotels are an odd choice due their tendency to require credit cards for online bookings and room deposits?

No? Just me? Fair enough.

As you can see, the man is carrying a super weird rifle to bring to an armed robbery — it’s not really possible to eyeball the exact make and caliber, but it’s very clearly a bolt-action rifle with a mounted scope.

Pretty surprising fare for this kind of thing, but folks have been known to use whatever strange material they have on-hand to accomplish their aims.

At one point, he claims “I ain’t playing with you,” but is pretty quickly routed when the clerk demonstrates that she’s armed.

It’s just one more example of a simple truth — being lawfully armed at work is the wise move. Fortunately, this encounter ended with the good guys getting home safe and sound at the end of the day.
