[WATCH] Massive Bear Attacks 5 In 1 Week, Shot In Self-Defense

Published

A massive bear was caught on film charging forest officials in a viral video taken in 2021.

According to the Hindustan Times, the bear was a Himalayan Black Bear, and the officials on camera were attempting to catch it with a net before it attacked.

It charged, which may come as no surprise.

The bear had reportedly attacked five people in the span of a week.

While attempting to net a bear is not necessarily the most advisable course of action, this particular bear needed to go, and the forest officials at least made the attempt to keep it alive.

Check out the video below, but please be advised it may not be appropriate for all audiences.

The bear died on the way to a treatment facility, according to the Times.
