Man Stalked By Cougar In Idaho, Luckily He Had His Gun With Him

Published

A man was Elk hunting in Idaho when he came across a cougar who wasn’t happy that he was there. Some commented that maybe she had cubs nearby but whatever the case, being up against a big cat isn’t something anyone with some sanity wants to be a part of.

When the cougar got close (too close for comfort in my book), the man fires a round that seems to go just high of the cat, but was enough to stop it’s progression. That didn’t last long, though, and the man fired another shot which seems to have done the trick, although the cat still wasn’t struck.

Those 2 shots in this case were enough to make the cat retreat uninjured, and I’m sure this man’s adrenaline was flowing at max capacity.
