Neighborhood Intruder Shot And Killed By Armed Homeowner In Dallas

DALLAS, TEXAS — A Dallas homeowner shot and killed a neighborhood intruder who was making threats to the neighborhood and threatened to kill the homeowner on July 30, 2022 around 11:03 PM.

The intruder, who was not identified, was attempting to break into vehicles, harassing the residents and making threats. The intruder was confronted by the homeowner and rushed him twice, threatening to kill him. Police say the intruder pretended to have a weapon during the incident.

The Dallas police responded to the call of a shooting on the 2600 block of Quinto Drive where the suspect was rushed to the hospital. He later died of his injuries.

The homeowner was cooperating with police and was not taken into custody.
