GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA — Three people were shot by a homeowner after illegal entry on July 19th.
Police responded to a shooting around 7:00 a.m. in northeast Gainesville. The police arrived and provided first aid until the three people were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
One of the intruders died of her injuries at the hospital, who was later identified by her family as Dhalani Armstrong. The other two suspects are being watched by police at the hospital while they recover.
At this time no charges have been filed against the homeowner.
