It’s not all made out of Legos, of course, but Culper Precision out of Utah is sure getting under people’s skin with this offering. Not only has Lego sent them a cease and desist, Glock has also spoken out.
Even though Culper Precision thanked Glock in their Instagram post above, Glock today released an official announcement that they want nothing to do with the product.
Culper Precision defends it’s custom product, stating that all firearms should be secured from unauthorized access, and went on to state the reason why the BLOCK19 is now a thing.
Our business is taking a firearm of known value and transforming it into a personalized invaluable treasure for a fair price. People have the right to customize their property to make it look like whatever they want. It is our business to assist firearms owners in making their guns better reflect them as a person and individual, our pieces speak to the owner of the gun as they have selected those options from a seemingly infinite range of possibilities.
The idea of real firearms made to look like toys is the real concern here, and it’s not the first or last time an offering like this will pop up on the market. What’s your take?
