Did You Know There’s An Interactive Concealed Carry Reciprocity Map Out There?

Published

With so many people crossing state lines every year who carry concealed, it’s important to know the law for the state you’re entering… and it’s also important to know if they even allow you to carry concealed in their state with whatever permit(s) you may have.

As you probably know, not all states accept concealed carry permits from every other state. In fact, it varies greatly from state to state. Before you find yourself in serious trouble, it’s best to know before heading over the line.

To help with this, USA Carry has created a Concealed Carry Reciprocity Map that’s a breeze to use and is updated regularly.

Here’s how you navigate the map:

We’ll use my permits as an example; Florida non-resident and New York resident. First, I’ll click on Florida and select non-resident.

Then, we’re shown the states that accept this permit (in green).

Now we’ll also select New York, resident.

And boom! Here is our list covering the US. Personally, I’m covered in 31 states. Anything blue: you’re free to carry. Anything red, steer clear.
