Kentucky Now Accepts Concealed Carry Permit Applications Online

Updated

Kentucky has made changes to it’s laws surrounding concealed carry and now allows people to complete and submit their application online. The location to apply is on the State Police website.

While there is no longer the need to apply in person, each applicant is still required to complete a background check as well as the safety course.

This new process also requires that State Police either issue or deny a permit within 15 days, instead of the 60 day time frame prior to the new law.
