Man Beaten To Death By Teens With Hammers In St Louis

Police are saying that they don’t believe it’s related to the recent unrest in the area, but we’ll see if that theory holds up. From where I’m sitting, it seems logical due to the thought that these teens could use the unrest as an excuse to do as they please.

Early Sunday morning, a man was driving his vehicle in St Louis when a group of teens approached him and started damaging the vehicle. The teens then began to yell at the man and beat him with hammers.

The man was taken to the hospital with injuries to his head, abdomen and face, and was pronounced dead shortly after.

A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, both male, were taken into custody after the attack. Their motives are still unknown.

Another man says that he encountered the group earlier in the night, and was also hit with a hammer.

“One of them told me they were doing it for fun, just for the heck of it,” said the man, who asked not to be identified. “I’m shaken because it’s the first time I’ve got into a confrontation. I was just trying to protect my family, that’s all.”

This is a clear case that emphasizes the destruction a person (or people) will and can do if they are determined. They do not need access to firearms, as nearly anything can be used to inflict harm on someone else. In this case, a man’s life was taken by tools that you can find in stores across the country, legal for anyone to purchase.
