California concealed carry permit apps skyrocket after bombshell court ruling

Orange and Ventura Counties have dropped the previously required need for applicants to show “good cause” to obtain their concealed carry permit. Sheriff’s offices in these counties have been flooded with application requests, receiving more in two weeks than all of 2013 combined.

On February 13th, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the requirements.
