Washington Home Intruder Fatally Shot By Resident

LAKE FOREST PARK, WASHINGTON — In North King County, a resident fatally shot an intruder on Wednesday afternoon.

Lake Forest Park Police Department responded to the Hillside neighborhood incident at 1:35 p.m., according to KOMO News.

Authorities reported that the burglar broke into the residence, where they were subsequently shot by the sole occupant.

Police arrived quickly on the scene, administering “life-saving measures” and assuring no public threat. A significant number of law enforcement and fire personnel attended the scene.
