Juvenile Suspect Hospitalized, 2nd Suspect At Large After Attempted Car Break-In

CINCINATTI, OHIO — In the early hours of Sunday morning in Bond Hill, Cincinnati, two individuals, including a juvenile, were involved in a car break-in that resulted in a shooting by the homeowner.

Responding to a disturbance on Berkley Avenue, police found that the suspects had targeted a blue car. Feeling threatened, the homeowner discharged his legally owned firearm multiple times, injuring the juvenile, who was later admitted to UC Medical Center in a conscious state. The second suspect escaped from the scene.

The severity of the injuries remains unclear as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
