WASHINGTON COUNTY, ALABAMA — A dispute involving a female acquaintance reportedly escalated to the point where a man fatally shot his own nephew, potentially in an act of self-defense.
The tragic event took place on a Saturday evening at a residence situated on U.S. Route 43. According to local law enforcement, Josh Parnell is the alleged shooter, who is accused of firing at 19-year-old Titus Parnell amidst the heated argument concerning a woman.
As of now, Josh Parnell remains uncharged. Sources have informed FOX10 News that the determination of whether to press any charges against him lies in the hands of a grand jury, who will deliberate on the particulars of the case.
