Homeowner Shoots Two Suspects Attempting To Break Into Vehicles

DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA — Early Monday, DeKalb County police responded to a shooting reported on Leicester Way SE, discovering two individuals with gunshot wounds. While the victims’ identities and conditions remain undisclosed, initial investigations suggest that they were attempting to break into cars when confronted by a homeowner.

The situation escalated when one suspect aimed a gun at the homeowner, prompting the latter to shoot both.

The homeowner isn’t currently facing charges.

Both suspects are hospitalized and in stable condition, with charges awaiting them.
