WASHINGTON, DC — Last week, a worker from an airline was reprimanded when he was found with a loaded firearm at a security checkpoint at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
The individual intended to board a flight to Chicago when he was discovered possessing a 9mm pistol loaded with 16 rounds, one of which was chambered.
Security personnel seized the weapon, and the individual now faces state-level charges. Those found carrying firearms can face fines up to $15,000.
