An attempted robbery at an Atlanta nail salon, Nail First, ended unsuccessfully as the patrons remained unfazed by the assailant’s threats.
The incident, caught on surveillance, showcased the would-be thief yelling for money and holding his hand inside a bag to suggest he had a firearm, only to receive apathetic responses.
One customer reluctantly stood up and surrendered her phone, while the rest largely ignored the man. Unable to garner the expected reaction, the frustrated individual soon fled the scene.
“Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for assistance from the public in an ongoing investigation,” said Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta. “Witnesses indicated the suspect entered the location wearing a blue hat, sunglasses, and blue jeans.”
