Late-Night Apartment Break-In Results In Shooting: Resident Faces Charges

KENT, OHIO — Kent law enforcement responded to a late-night shooting incident at the Franklin Crossings apartment complex. An individual had unlawfully attempted to access an apartment via a window, and was shot in the leg and foot by the resident, Larry Robinson III. The wounds, though serious, were not life-threatening, and the individual was transported to a hospital for treatment.

An early investigation indicated that the incident was not random as Robinson III and the intruder knew each other. Additionally, Robinson III faces charges of receiving stolen property since the firearm used was stolen.

While the unidentified intruder remains uncharged, police continue their investigation and anticipate more charges.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
