Mississippi Felon Arrested After Trying To Hide Handgun Inside Taco Bell Quesadilla

PICAYUNE, MISSISSIPPI — During a traffic stop on East Canal Street in Picayune, an officer with the Picayune PD found a handgun concealed inside a folded quesadilla in a Taco Bell bag by the passenger, Devin P. Mitchell.

The officers also discovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine, liquid heroin, and drug paraphernalia during a search of the vehicle. Mitchell was arrested and charged with several offenses, including possession of a firearm by a felon, while the driver of the vehicle received a citation for disregarding a traffic device and was released at the scene.
