Family Dispute Ends In Gunfire; 1 Dead And 2 Injured

WEST POINT, GEORIGA — At about 9:15 PM on November12th, police in West Point Georgia responded to a report of multiple people shot. When they arrived at the West Point Depot, officers found three people shot. Tarrance Holloway Sr., 53, was dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. Two others, Tarrance Holloway Jr. and Minnie Holloway, were found shot.

The investigation showed that Holloway Sr. arrived at the scene armed and immediately shot his son, Tarrance Holloway Jr., over a previous dispute. Tarrance Hollway Jr. is in stable condition and is expected to survive.

When Holloway Sr. attempted to shoot his son a second time, Minnie Holloway, his wife, stepped in front of their son and was shot. Minnie Holloway is also in stable condition and expected to survive.

The other Holloway children, Trayvon and Erica, attempted to disarm Holloway Sr., and he fired shots at them as well. Trayvon Holloway was able to disarm his father and shot him, as he was still fighting.

Trayvon and Erica Holloway were both arrested at the scene, but both were later released.
