Carjacker Rides Up On Bicycle, Uses Hammer To Force Driver Into Submission

Published

HOUSTON, TEXAS — A man came up out of the blue in a bicycle and made an attempt to steal a stranger’s car, according to surveillance footage from Active Self Protection.

The occupant of the vehicle must have made some remark to the negative, because the carjacker very quickly pulled out a hammer from his things and proceeded to wail on the car.

Shockingly, the windows didn’t break, and fortunately, no one was hurt.

The occupant of the vehicle made a run for it through a door that kept the car between himself and the attacker, and bolted inside what appears to be a convenience store.

Check out the video below, and when you do so, ask yourself these questions:

  • How do I keep my car when waiting in a parking lot — are the windows down? Is the car on?
  • What is my personal protection plan when inside a vehicle?
