Woman Saves Self From Husband, Ruled Self-Defense

ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO — The shooting death of a man in Roswell will be ruled as self-defense, according to the police.

Brian Jaramillo was shot multiple times by his wife inside their business on Monday morning, according to KRQE.

The police received a call from a man who reported a woman with a gun in her hand who needed help. When the police arrived, they found the woman sitting in front of the business and Jaramillo dead in a back room.

The investigation revealed that Jaramillo was physically assaulting and threatening to kill his wife when she shot him. The police have no plans to file charges against the woman.
