LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — Metro PD officers responded to the 1700 block of Karen Avenue at 9:31 PM on June 27th. When they arrived, they found a man later identified as Jodi Lamar Harris (30) shot. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died a short time later.
The initial call was for an assault and battery with a gun near Karen Avenue and South Maryland Parkway. Police say that Harris’ death was a case of self-defense.
Jodi Lamar Harris was a local DJ and was born in the United Kingdom.
Las Vegas Metro Police have released no other information on the case, other than it having been a case of self-defense.
