BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA — One teen is dead, another injured and a third in custody after police say they bit off more than they could chew after attempting to rob a man in a parking lot. The man they were trying to rob was an armed parking lot attendant, and he pulled out his gun and fired at the three robbers.
17-year-old Chico Guest was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with a gunshot wound to his chest. Shortly after the robbery attempt, police were notified of a person that came to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. A third suspect, only identified as a female, was also taken into custody.
It is unclear if any of the teens were armed during the incident.
