It’s a huge decision to make; am I going to resist or am I going to comply? Every situation is different, but we should have an idea of how we’d respond in different circumstances. There is a lot to be weighed, and the level of danger can vary from second to second, and opportunities may or may not present themselves.
Unfortunately in this case, the counter attack wasn’t executed very well and it cost the man his life. There were potential opportunities when the armed man was paying attention to things under the desk, but don’t forget that he had a female accomplice right outside the door of the office.
They both turned out to be killers, with each firing shots at their victims once they started fighting back.
