PASADENA, TEXAS — Police are investigating an incident where a couple was shot while asleep in their bed. The husband called 911 to report that they had been shot, and his wife died from the injuries.
Several neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots roughly 1 hour before the husband dialed 911.
Investigators said they also found shell casings in the backyard but have not recovered a weapon nor disclosed where the woman was shot.
Police say they are checking the area, including any video that may have been recorded from surveillance cameras.
It’s a strange story indeed, and not one that we typically hear. It is possible that someone fired from outside the home and managed to hit both people inside, and hopefully police will be able to piece this tragic incident together, and figure out who is responsible.
