Suspect Shot And Killed By Resident After Forcing Way Into Home

PHARR, TEXAS — A man is dead after he and another suspect forced their way into a home, according to police. Residents inside the house fought back, exchanging gunfire with one or both of the intruders.

“Multiple shots were fired inside the residence resulting in the death of one of the suspects, Hispanic male in his 20’s.” The news release stated. “A second suspect exited and fled the scene in an unknown type vehicle, possibly grey in color.”

One of the residents was also struck, but the injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The other suspect has not yet been found.
