Homeowner Defends Against Forced Entry Of Known Individual In Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA — On Saturday evening, an individual was injured by gunfire following an incident where he reportedly broke into a residence located in the vicinity of Baldwin Park, as reported by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident prompted a response from law enforcement at approximately 8:50 p.m. at a location on Eldridge Street in the 700 block, according to official statements. The individual, who is accused of unlawfully entering the property, sustained a gunshot injury that was not deemed life-threatening. He was subsequently transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. It was noted by the authorities that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other.

Investigations by the sheriff’s department are ongoing.
