Elderly Man Pushed To Ground By Police, Bleeds From Ear, Department Says He ‘Tripped’, Then Video Comes Out

Video doesn’t lie, and that’s why we encourage people to get those cameras out as much as possible.

First, let’s go over a few things:

  1. We are not anti-law enforcement
  2. We know that law enforcement has bad apples, just like any other category on the face of the planet
  3. Current conditions have emotions running high

With that, let’s see what happened in Buffalo, NY today.

WARNING: The below video is graphic.

Here is the incident from a different angle:

After the man falls and is in obvious need of attention, dozens of police officers walk past him to take care of a few protestors that are up ahead a little further.

The two officers who shoved the 75-year-old man have been suspended. However, the first narrative to come from the police department was that the man ‘tripped’.

Once video surfaced, however, they changed their wording.

I don’t know about you, but that’s assault. At the very least. Who knows what damage was done to this man’s head, but these officers should know better.

How threatened could they have felt in that moment? If they were feeling highly threatened, they need to find another profession.

If I were 75-years-old and two people pushed me to the ground who were half my age, they mean business. And if I was carrying, many states would consider the use of deadly force against them justified.

No, I’m not saying that someone should have done any harm to the officers, so anyone trying to spin these words can go elsewhere.

What I am saying, however, is that these Buffalo Police Officers practiced extremely poor judgement in the treatment of this man and should be fired and held accountable.

I mean, c’mon. Are you a complete moron?

The man is said to be in serious but stable condition.
