ABERDEEN, MARYLAND — A shooting took place around 9 am EST this morning at a Rite Aid distribution center, and at least three people have been killed.
Some reports say the person responsible is a woman, but no suspect has been identified.
During a live press conference, police stated that the lone suspect is in custody and is in critical condition at the hospital. Also noted was that no law enforcement fired at the suspect. This would lead us to believe that the suspect either shot him or herself, or met resistance prior to police arriving.
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has been updating the public via tweets this morning.
We are closely monitoring the horrific shooting in Aberdeen. Our prayers are with all those impacted, including our first responders. The State stands ready to offer any support. https://t.co/fzugpo8C1Z
