You’d expect someone who regularly reviews holsters, belts, and firearms to carry something snazzy like the HK VP-9. Well, in terms of everyday carry, I just started carrying the Glock 36 as part of a review process. I already had an appropriate shell from Alien Gear and I attached it to the tried and true AGH 1.0 with a leather backing. Man, it’s gotten some wear but it’s still hanging in there.
- What Do You Carry? Glock 36 (.45 ACP) w/ Spare Magazine (6 Rounds)
- What Do You Carry It In? Brown paper bag… Just kidding. It’s an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 1.0 with a leather backing and two plastic belt clips.
- Why Do You Carry It That Way? Brandon said he’d fire me if I didn’t start carrying a real gun. Brandon would ask, “so, what’s your EDC?” I’d proudly take out a cap gun six shooter and make “pew pew” noises. Finally, he broke down and sent me a Glock 36 ostensibly so I could review it. But I think the real reason is pretty clear. He’s envious of the cap gun.
As you can see from the picture, my standard side-items are my beaten, tattered wallet, my eLeaf electronic cigarette (which I do not espouse is any healthier than the real thing), a spare magazine, and a pen.
“Why no knife, Jim?”
Because the pen is mightier.
