What Goes Bump In The Night? Burglar Hid Under Bed For Three Days Before Homeowner Noticed

Published

SPOTSWOOD, NEW JERSEY — What can only be described as absolutely terrifying, authorities have apprehended a burglar who hid in a homeowner’s house for three days before he was discovered beneath a guest bed.

via NBC News

The man, identified as Jason Hubbard, remained in the Middlesex County jail Wednesday in lieu of $50,000 bail on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and theft of services (electric current). That last count was lodged because he allegedly charged the four cellphones he was carrying on an electric outlet under the bed.

The actual event occurred back in May but NBC concedes that news is just now breaking because Middlesex County releases its criminal reports once every six months.

The bigger question is – how has this changed your situational awareness?
