Shooting Between 3 15-Year-Olds Leaves One Dead

CLEVELAND, OHIO — On March 20, a fatal shooting occurred at a residence in Cleveland, leaving a 15-year-old suspect dead and another arrested.

The incident took place on the 3800 block of West 31st Street and involved three teenagers, including a 15-year-old male victim, according to WKYC.

Cleveland police reported that the two suspects approached the victim’s home and knocked on the door. Upon answering, the victim was shot in the abdomen by one of the suspects.

In response, the victim fired back, hitting the shooter in the head. The injured suspect succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital on March 25.

Meanwhile, the second suspect fled the scene but was apprehended shortly thereafter.

The victim’s current health condition remained undisclosed at the time of the initial report. The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation into the shooting.
