PITTSBURG, CALIFORNIA — A homeowner shot and killed two intruders during a burglary attempt Friday night at his home.

Police responded to a shooting around 9pm, and that’s when the two men were found dead. The homeowner told police that he had shot them as they attempted to burglarize the home.

Police Captain Ron Raman told reporters that the incident was an apparent result of “an interrupted burglary attempt.”

Just earlier this week, the home had another burglary, although it is not clear if the two incidents are related. In that burglary, four people were arrested.
