For The Betterment Of Mankind, Carry A Gun

PUTNAM COUNTY, FL — Two suspects walked into a China Wok on Tuesday with handguns, one went to the counter while the other went right into the kitchen. The suspect that went into the kitchen started firing shots, hitting a 55-year-old employee with at least one shot.

The bad guys got away, and the injured employee was taken to the hospital to be treated for his unnecessary wounds. His condition is unknown.

This incident proves a valuable point that has been proven time and time again; some criminals simply do not care about the lives of others, and sometimes they need to be met with deadly force. Not only is carrying a firearm a duty to yourself, it’s a duty to other people around you. If you are working in a store with 5 other people and that store comes under attack, you would be there with a tool to help level the playing field, potentially saving not only your life, but the lives of your co-workers.

We don’t carry to the hero, and we don’t carry wanting to ever use our firearms. We carry because things like this happen. Armed thugs happen. Self-defense also happens. And when the day comes that self-defense outweighs armed thugs, we will see crime drop across the board.

Once more armed criminals are met with armed citizens, they’ll get the point. Trust me.
