In the early hours of the day, a violent incident unfolded in Miguel Alemán, Mexico, leaving seven individuals, including U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and a Mexican citizen, injured. The victims reached the Roma, Texas port of entry at approximately 5:30 a.m., where they received initial assistance from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers before being taken to nearby hospitals to address their injuries. Currently, the extent of their conditions remains undisclosed.
The incident, the specifics of which are yet to be divulged, took place in a region that’s geographically poised near the U.S.-Mexico boundary, separated by the Rio Grande river.
