HILLSBORO, OREGON — It’s said that when one is faced with a life-and-death scenario, people can find a kind of strength that they never knew they had in them.
After watching the video below from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, one could make the argument that same principle counts every bit as much for speed.
The video, which was shared by Storyful and USA Today, shows a man that was reportedly attending a pre-trial hearing for a murder charge.
The man in the video, 28-year-old Edi Villalobos, bolts nearly the second he’s uncuffed.
Man, is he fast.
Video shows him escaping the courthouse with law enforcement in pursuit, but the foot chase isn’t particularly close.
Fortunately, he was caught hiding in an unoccupied apartment a couple of hours later.
