Two Women Killed During Alleged Facebook Live Self-Defense Shooting

HOLMES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI — Two women, 33-year-old Karissa Job and 24-year-old Tiateiyuna Day, were fatally shot in Holmes County on Tuesday evening, according to Sheriff Willie March.

The incident occurred when Job and Day confronted another woman at her Emory Road residence off Highway 19. The homeowner allegedly shot both women during a Facebook live video, according to WAPT.

Sheriff March stated that the shooting could be considered self-defense, as the two women confronted the third woman at her home.

Investigators are currently reviewing the Facebook video to determine if charges will be filed or if the case will proceed to a grand jury.
