5 Shot At Texas Flea Market, Police Searching For Suspect

PEARLAND, TEXAS — In Pearland, Texas, a shooting at Cole’s Flea Market resulted in five people being injured, including two children. The incident occurred around 5:34 p.m. on N. Main Street, as per Pearland Police Public Information Officer Chad Rogers.

The shooting stemmed from a disturbance between two individuals, leading to gunfire. The exact ages of the victims and their current health conditions are unknown, but all were transported to hospitals.

Authorities have not made any arrests and are calling for witnesses to come forward with information by contacting their tip line. The Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office are aiding the Pearland Police in their investigation. Rogers emphasized that such incidents are rare in Pearland and expressed the tragedy of gun violence in the community.

The area remains an active crime scene, with Highway 35 closed between Knapp Road and Beltway 8. The public has been advised to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
