6 Armed Robberies Occurred In Southwest Chicago Within 25 Minutes Of Each Other

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — A spree of six armed robberies occurred within a span of 25 minutes on Saturday morning on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Authorities reported that in each case, a group of armed individuals using a silver Infiniti confronted victims, demanding their belongings.

The culprits are believed to be teenagers aged between 16 and 18, standing around 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and weighing between 150 and 175 pounds. They were spotted wearing either red or black hoodies, paired with red shorts or gray trousers, and also sported sunglasses and ski masks.

The incidents took place at locations on West 47th Street, Ashland Avenue, and West 43th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. The police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact them at 312-747-8380.
