DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA — A 16-year-old was fatally shot at an IHOP in DeKalb County while he was working. Another teen, not identified, turned himself in and was charged with felony murder.
The motive remains unknown, but police say they had an ongoing dispute. The victim’s identity is undisclosed.
The IHOP manager expressed devastation and is working with authorities to understand the events and support affected team members.
