Armed Hotel Employee Has A Surprise For This Armed Robber With A Rifle

Published

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Back in January, a hotel employee near the Katy Freeway and Highway 6 in Houston successfully deterred an armed robbery using her own firearm, as reported by the Houston Police Department. The event occurred on January 16, just after dawn.

The alleged thief, wielding a rifle, appeared at the counter and demanded cash. However, the clerk responded by drawing her own handgun, frightening the would-be robber into fleeing the scene. The suspect, in his early to mid-twenties, stands between 6’2″ and 6’4″, weighing around 150-180 lbs, and was last seen in a blue shirt, jeans, and white shoes.

Crime Stoppers has issued a call for any information leading to the suspect’s identification, offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information resulting in an arrest or charges. The contact number is 713-222-8477.
