Chicago Robbery Thwarted By Lawful Gun Owner

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — In Calumet Heights, a man has been fatally shot during an attempted robbery at an auto parts store, as reported by the Chicago Police Department.

The incident occurred at a store located on the 9100 block of South Stony Island Avenue when a male, aged between 30 and 40, allegedly entered the premises around 2:30 p.m. and demanded cash from the register, brandishing a firearm, according to WGN9.
