RACINE, WISCONSIN — A gunman opened fire in the early morning hours on Sunday in downtown Racine, shooting and injuring five people. Police believe the incident may have stemmed from a domestic dispute. The shooting happened around 2 a.m. local time and sent people fleeing for their lives while previously enjoying a night out.
Police encountered the gunman and attempted to negotiate with him, but he turned the gun on himself and fired a shot. No shots were fired by police.

In total, five people were taken to various hospitals for treatment. Luckily, none of their injuries were life-threatening. The victims consisted of 4 men and 1 woman.
Initial reports suggest the incident was domestic-related, although no elaboration as been made as of this writing.
