GARLAND, TEXAS — A 14-year-old child thug is under arrest after police say he shot and killed 3 teens inside a convenience store, also shooting and injuring an employee. One of the teens inside the store was there to order food for his family.

The teen was seen on surveillance video getting out of the passenger door of a white truck, opened the front door of the store and fired 20 rounds from a .40 caliber handgun. He then fled after getting back into the truck.

Police are looking for a person of interest who they believe may have been the driver of the truck, pictured below.

It is not known if the suspect knew the victims or if it was a random attack.

The teen who survived the shooting is a cook at the store, according to police. He is recovering in the hospital and is in stable condition.

“When it’s 14 and 16-year-old kids committing (violent) acts and (being) victims of acts, it’s even harder for us to comprehend that.” said Garland Police Chief Jeff Bryan.

The three victims who died have been identified as Xavier Gonzalez, 14, Ivan Noyola, 15, and Rafael Garcia, 17.
