It Should Have Been A Defensive Gun Use: Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Shot, Dogs Stolen, Offers $500k Reward

Published

A man who was hired by singer Lady Gaga to walk her dogs, was shot and two of the three dogs stolen last night. Gaga, who is out of the country for work, said that she is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs, no questions asked.

The victim, identified by his hairdresser as Ryan Fischer, was walking the dogs when the shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Fischer was approached by one or two suspects after a vehicle pulled up. During a struggle, he was shot by one of the attackers, who then took off with the two dogs.

No description of the suspect or suspects was available.

The dogs, who are French bulldogs, have apparently been targeted in the area due to their value as a breed. It is not known if the suspect(s) knew that the dogs belonged to Gaga, but it is suspected that is not the case.

Fischer is in the hospital and is expected to recover, although his injuries were reported as critical.

Surveillance video was released that shows the incident as it went down.
