Armed Robber Shoots Victim, Is Then Fatally Shot Himself By Unknown Person Moments Later

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — An armed robber picked his target around 4:30 am and ended up shooting the victim in the leg. The victim was able to run away, but told police that he heard multiple gunshots as he was fleeing.

Police officers found the suspected gunman suffering from numerous gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

He was identified Monday as Adan Delgado, 27, of the 1800 block of West Huron Street, according to information from the medical examiner’s office.

Who shot Delgado is still a mystery, and police also noted that he has no record with their department.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the victim thought that Delgado continued firing at him, and that’s what he heard. I also wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the victim was shocked to learn that someone had shot and killed the person who had just shot him.

What a world, folks.

The victim in this case wasn’t armed, or at least there was no mention of him being armed.

Some criminals don’t care about your life, and have no problem pulling the trigger to end it. Luckily for the victim, his leg wound will heal and he will be alright. It might not have turned out that way.
