How Important Is It To You That Your Significant Other Be Accepting Of Firearms?

I’m a single guy, and have been (for the most part) since 2010. Really, who has time dating? But one day down the road, I’m going to meet the woman of my dreams. That’s what everyone tells me at least. I’m pretty sure that I’ve already found her, but I was friend-zoned years ago. So until the runner-up comes along (don’t tell my future wife I said that), I find myself asking the same question over and over; What if she’s not into firearms like I am? What if she doesn’t like them at all? What if she’s Shannon Watts?

That last part is a joke.

The spectrum here goes all the way from “not accepting of firearms” to “hey honey, we’ve only been to the range 3 times this week, let’s go again today”. I’m not certain that I could date -or marry- a woman who was against firearms. Actually, I couldn’t. Who am I kidding.

But how about you? How important is it to you that your significant other be accepting of firearms? Moreover, how important is it to you that they share your love for firearms?

Not only do we want to spend time with our significant other doing things that we both enjoy, we also want them to be safe. I’d love to find someone who would enjoy going to the range with me, and would also enjoy learning new things when it comes to firearms.

So yea, it’s important to me.
