SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — A shooting that occurred last month in Salt Lake City is now being examined as an act of self-defense.
The original incident occurred on December 27th, at just before 2:50 p.m., according to ABC4.
The incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Main Street. Police responded to the location after multiple calls, finding a man armed with a handgun and another person shot.
The incident revolved around an argument between three men. In the course of the argument, one of the men displayed a knife. One of the other men produced a handgun and shot the knife-wielding man. The third man left the scene prior to police arrival.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The case is being referred to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office for a determination of self-defense.
